Almost two months ago that Federica & Co He closed his garden in that beautiful courtyard of Hermosilla to settle in Cantabria and embark on new projects. Now, one of those new projects has just opened its doors in Madrid.
Yes, we are talking about Slow Revolution, the new ephemeral Christmas store that hides in an old and abandoned garage at number 24 of Nuñez de Balboa Street, in the heart of the Salamanca District, again showing us the ability of this woman to transform a space to fill it with magic.
When you arrive, you see a long passageway that connects the street with the space occupied by Slow Revolution. A passage flanked by Christmas firs, and with a luminous sign very similar to Federica Barbaranelli, announcing what awaits us inside.
The space, full of magic, has been transformed taking inspiration from forests and greenhouses that protect the plants from the cold winter, and that is achieved thanks to the stalls of plants and flowers that fill the first spaces with their Christmas creations.
In addition to plants, firs, crowns and other natural Christmas ornaments, in Slow Revolution we can find a lot of proposals for Christmas decoration for the home, with ornaments for the tree made of wood, funny reindeer heads to hang on the walls, papers to wrap gifts or to make crafts ...
And in addition, there are also a good number of artisans, artists, small firms and fashion and accessories. Signatures that increase with each passing day, and that are inspired by the slow motion, the movement of different and healthy life that the Italian has embraced so strongly in this new stage of her life.
In this ephemeral Christmas shop there is also a small italian trattoria to regain strength, with a space with tables full of candles and disposable tableware made from recycled materials.
A space that is already on the agenda of thousands of people as a must-see point in the coming weeks, and that will remain open until the next January 5, 2016.
