I don't know about you, but with the change of season, I've always wanted to make changes at home to give it a new air. Y changing textiles can make real wonders without doing the tedious works or without getting into changing furniture.
And the truth is that this fall is being especially fruitful in regards to textile news, with proposals such as the Jane Churchill's new collection. A collection that presents innovative printing techniques and precious fabrics that create an incredible sense of depth.
The designs are dynamic and have a cosmopolitan point, with the gemstone colors making contrasts with darker tones, enhanced by reds, pinks or oranges, together with blue and green nuances.
The line of decorative fabrics they are inspired by the art world, or ethnic or natural motives, with abstract motifs that remind us of Turner's paintings, going through chiaroscuro with a succession of repeated trees enhanced with silvery brushstrokes, coppery or teal, not forgetting the large embroidered leaves that are ideal for deco lovers tropical.
For those who like the geometric forms, we find fabrics with rectangular blocks in copper, teal and charcoal gray with some colorful streaks, also finding fabrics with ethnic influences totally reinvented with textures with a modern touch.
The most sophisticated touch of this collection is undoubtedly put by the textured velvet They accompany fabrics and plain, with attractive geometric motifs in pink, gold and silver, or with die cut in eggplant tones with pink, and ruby red with electric blue.
Regarding the wallpapers From the collection, the illustrations of MOONSTRUCK and CITYSCAPE are used together with the highly textured models AMAYA, GINTO and ZAHRA. JARO is a discreet plain with linen effect and URSA wears subtle stripes that seem painted.
They are all about designs in rich reliefs and prints on vinyl with smooth and glossy finishes. The soft palette of neutrals and grays extends the silver and gold, with touches of pink and copper to compensate for the darker shades of teal, midnight and slate for more modern rooms with an air of light and depth.
